Anvil

Fifty-five kilograms of cast steel that will outlive the site describing it.

Robotic arms working on car bodies moving along an assembly line in a brick-walled factory.

Detail

What it is

Heavy, honest, and entirely free of JavaScript. Forged for work that expects to outlast several framework generations.

An anvil is the least interesting object in a workshop and the one everything else depends on. It has no settings, no revisions and no upgrade path, and the only maintenance it asks for is that you keep it dry.

The face is ground flat and hardened to 58 HRC, which is hard enough to return the hammer and soft enough not to chip when it meets something harder than it expects. The horn and the step are left softer on purpose, because the work done on them is bending rather than striking.

It is sold the way it is made: one shape, one mass, one price. There is no configurator on this page because there is nothing to configure.
